Tuesday night saw a very busy 6984 attending Plough Lane. The German beers must have been selling fast as some of the bars ran out reusable cups just before kick off with staff frantically trying to wash more. The food stalls were still queueing as kick off started. I imagine they all did a roaring trade especially for a Tuesday night.
From the match v Crewe Alexandra we probably deserved 3 points based on most of the performance that night but at this stage I will take a point.
But the highlight was of course the Oompah band! I am pretty sure they extended half time as fans chanted “we want more”. Which seemed to mean a dash for the train at the end of the night as the game finished later than I expected! Hopefully more themed events at Plough Lane. It was excellent. COYD.
